26th January is one of the most significant days in India’s history as it is celebrated as the Republic Day. This day marks the adoption of the Constitution of India and the establishment of India as a sovereign Republic. To commemorate this day, many organizations, including NGOs, organize events to celebrate the occasion.

On 26th January 2020, the NGO I volunteer for celebrated Republic Day with much enthusiasm. The event began with a few members of the organization singing the National Anthem and then saluting the national flag. After that, a few members gave speeches about the importance of the day and the significance of the Constitution of India. There was also an informative presentation about the Indian constitution and the relevant laws and regulations.

The event then moved to a cultural program. A few members of the NGO showcased some traditional Indian dances and the audience was thrilled. After that, there was a fun game organized.

The NGO also distributed gifts to the participants of the event. They included Pens, notebooks and snacks. Everyone was very excited and in high spirits. The event concluded with a few members of the NGO sharing some inspirational stories related to the Constitution of India.

Overall, it was a very successful event. The participants were very enthusiastic and everyone had a great time. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the Republic Day and to honor the Constitution of India. This event was a great reminder of the importance of the Constitution of India and the progress India has made since its adoption.
